Su’s Soul Story work involves the use of myth, story, narrative, archetype, metaphor and symbol as a means of re-discovering the journey of your own fairy tale in which you are the hero or heroine. Su uses a number of different creative techniques to enable people to connect with the potent power of story and apply this to their own journey in a way that is fun, imaginative, empowering and healing.
The first sound is a whisper
A gentle breath
Waking you from a deep sleep
With the words…
Once upon a time

A Storyteller's Creed
I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -
That myth is more potent than history.
I believe that dreams are more powerful than facts -
That hope always triumphs over experience -
That laughter is the only cure for grief.
And I believe that love is stronger than death.
Robert Fulghum
The stories people tell have a way of taking care of them. If stories come to you, care for them. And learn to give them away where they are needed. Sometimes a person needs a story more than food to stay alive. That is why we put these stories in each other’s memory. This is how people care for themselves.
